About our Program

Course includes:

  • 30 hours of classroom instruction (please note that the students are only allowed to miss 2 classes, or 4 hours, per state regulations).¬† See Classroom Location for address and directions.

  • 10 hours of driving;

  • 6 - 8 hours of observing;

  • One free follow-up lesson, as needed.

The driving commitment for the students once they are enrolled is 2 - 4  hours per week of driving/observing with the instructor. All students need to plan on this. If there are conflicts, we always try to work around them as we are able.

The students are also required to have 40 hours of driving time with their parents, 10 of which have to be night hours, prior to taking their Driver's Test.  Click here to print Out-of-Class Log Sheet (DSMV 509)

On the first night or day of class, one parent is required to attend with their teen. The parent must bring:

  • any paperwork not already mailed (registration and rules sheet).

  • balance of tuition, if applicable

    • 2013/2014 Tuition Cost: $650.00 per student.¬† A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a class space due to a 30 student maximum per class; students are NOT fully registered until this deposit is received. (see How to Register menu for more details).¬† The balance (less the registration deposit) is due at the first class.

  • a copy of the birth certificate for me to keep with the student's files

  • the original birth certificate for me to view (we are required to view the seal).
